Interbank ATM & Card Services

Gamswitch provides the infrastructure that enables seamless interbank access across ATMs and card-based channels, allowing customers of participating institutions to transact on any connected ATM nationwide.

The service supports essential functionalities including cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, mini statements, and card-based transactions. By connecting banks through a shared switch, it expands customer access to funds, improves convenience, and reduces the need for bank-specific ATM usage.

Transactions are securely routed through our central switching platform for real-time authorization, with efficient interbank clearing and settlement ensuring accuracy and reliability across all participating institutions.

All services operate in compliance with the regulatory framework of the Central Bank of The Gambia, with robust security, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms in place to maintain trust and system integrity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. If your bank is a member of the Gamswitch network, you can use your card at any ATM connected to the Gamswitch switch, regardless of which bank operates the machine.

Fees vary by institution. Your bank may apply an off-us ATM fee for using a terminal operated by a different bank. Please refer to your bank's fee schedule for details.

Contact the bank that operates the ATM immediately, and also notify your own bank. Both banks' customer service teams can initiate a card recovery process.
